Beiseker Fire Department Moves to Paid-on-Call Status

​

The Beiseker Fire Department is pleased to announce its transition from a traditional volunteer model to a paid-on-call fire service.

Under the new model, eligible members will receive compensation when responding to emergency incidents.

Paid-on-call status does not mean that members are full-time municipal employees. Rather, it recognizes the time, training, commitment  involved when members respond to emergencies.

This change will help the Department:

​

• Recognize members for their service and availability

• Support recruitment and retention

• Strengthen emergency-response coverage

• Maintain a trained and dependable membership

• Improve the long-term sustainability of local fire and emergency services

The Department’s commitment to Beiseker remains unchanged. Our members will continue responding to emergencies, participating in training and supporting community events with professionalism and dedication.
